Sometimes rookies take time, it's not all that uncommon. Someone in the Reds organization who makes a lot more money than you or I do talking baseball labeled him hitter of the year. Just don't understand why we have been giving away so many throw in's.

I'm pretty sure his numbers labeled him hitter of the year. Brandon Larson was the Minor League POY in 2003 and we all saw how that turned out. Minor league awards mean nothing...

Gosh I hate to give up 2 mid level prospects and an average pitcher. Those are the kind of players World Series winners are built on.

They have 2 picks in the top 40 next year...3 if Cordero signs elsewhere. They can replenish what they've lost.

I guess we can reasonably assume that Voice of Reason and Keith Law aren't the same person ... :lol:

He had the same stuff in 2010 that he had in 2011. The league simply figured him out. It happens all the time.

 

By your logic, Madison Bumgarner and Tim Lincecum have been drastically overworked his first two years in the league. They seem to be doing ok.
