I was saying last night to a friend "just wait until CCH rolls in."

Young Breds still need some work but have alot of potential. Will start beating some good teams when they start hitting some shots. They are much better shooters than they've shown so far. Glad to see Andy Miller play with some confidence last night. Michael Bueter is playing a nice floor game but he's shooting his 3's four feet beyond the line, he will make those if he takes a step in. Zach Ryan can shoot but he's gotten into a bad habit of not stepping into his jump shot and not jumping straight up. He's going to have some big games when he straightens that up. Brady Hightchew needs to trust his teammates more, Brady is so competitive that he tries to do it all himself. Problem is that sometimes his teammates stand around watching him instead of getting open. Can't really guard Brady with one player so someone should always be open. Breds just need to make shots.

I had the margin of victory correct, but was way off on points. After seeing the stats, I see why. Both teams have the ability to shoot much better than they did last night. Sounds like it was a great game. Should be interesting to see these two go at it again after both get into full swing. Is MacDonald still playing JV? Is Schulte getting any JV minutes? I saw he had only 6 varsity minutes last night. Both will be great players and i'd love to see them feature these twin towers in a few years.

Let's remember that NC is 2 games into their season against two very good teams.

 

We shall assume they will get better and contend.

Statman - How hot was it up in the perch at HC last night ?

 

Let's just say this...I have lost 25 pounds on WeightWatchers since June. I'm probably going to lose another 25 during the basketball season by staying with the program and wearing a jacket in the perch doing stats.

I agree that could be the thinking. I even mentioned that to my buddy sitting next to me.

 

I really like Goetz. Think he knows the game as well as anyone. I think he knows it really doesn't matter who wins these games. His big games are district regular season, postseason, and kind of the All A (not really as big). He was on the same staff as Cory Miller who understood that and coached that way at Walton even if their fans weren't smart enough to know what Miller knew.

If this comment was made it's pretty sad. HC can't afford to put fans in the gym. I can't imagine that they are going to be paying players to win ball games.

A coach shouldnt say that and HC I hear is pretty much broke as a joke but kind of funny
