Rough shooting night from the beyond the arc for NCC. If if take away Miller's 3 for 3 they were 0-15.

 

Tough for any team to win when you shoot like that. Was it due to hands in the face, or was it just one of those nights?

As expected there was a reference from HC's student body to the football game. During a timeout 3 boys came out , one in a football helmet, and simulated the game-winning FG.

 

Later some kid came down and gave the NCC student body a football and Clay Eifert was not happy. Lip-reading I saw something like "I told you about this before the game. I told you...." Not happy but overall it was harmless.

 

That's hilarious. They earned it, that's why they are called bragging rights.

Ugly, ugly offensively for both teams. Missed dunk by Campbell at end of game was typical of how it was. Foul shots not close. Defensively, I thought both teams were adequate. Mostly a half court game...very few runouts. I sat during timeouts wondering how much it would take to put AC in that gym! Lots of timeouts to clean up the floor of moisture. I saw Hightchew favoring his ankle near the end of the game. Agree that crowds were rowdy, but very much within acceptable behavioral guidelines! Is Campbell still growing? HC should attempt at least a dozen pick and rolls with him every game IMO.
