I thought early on that CCH did get good pressure on PT but , like Superman, he just threw them off of him.

 

Overall, the pass D was solid. No long deep passes completed.

 

Tackling was lacking for the Colonels overall. DBs with lots of tackles.

Sorry to see the Sheehan boy not able to play anymore this season. I had the chance to talk to him before the game. Seems like a good kid. I hope he gets some chances to continue playing with a scholarship offer.

Saw a new one tonight. #52 Houston was in sweats the first half. 2nd half starts and he's in full uni.

When Towles was rushed he showed great escapability and when they didn't get pressure he had all day to make a play.

In the prediction thread the question was asked "how does Gabe Gray compare to JJ Jude and other RB's" ? Well up until tonight Gray was averaging about 150 yards per game , but it looked like CCH didn't want him to carry the ball. Why not ? There was nobody at the game yelling about HHS missing tackles. The D tonight was impressive just like the Elder and JC game.

 

The O looked great to go along with the D . Highlands coaches once again showed their knowledge of the game !! The coaching staff is awesome !!
