HHS D was outstanding especially against the run.

I like Jac Collinsworth. He broke off a few routes tonight on scrambles by Towles to make himself available.

 

Towles sure does run hard.

 

Jac Collinsworth and all the Birds recievers know what to do on pass plays that break down , they have an NFL pro teaching them .

Good to meet Birdsfan and his crew tonight. Talked to Guru and Oldbird a bit. Even spoke briefly to someone I THINK is either TDyballgame or Sweeperboy. Not sure on that one.

When we walked past at 7 the windows were closed.

We definitely had a game until HHS answered quickly following the Colonels score to start the 3rd Qtr. It was the quick O-line of HHS & the HHS D that stole the show. The big line of CCH simply was not as effective vs the Birds as in Sept. While HHS was expected to strick fast and then wait while CovCath executed long drives, it was HHS playing smashmouth. Congrats CCH on a fine season, and on challenging. Go Birds!

HHS answering CCH's score was a game-changer IMO.

How about Dave taking 3 points off of the board down 14-0 after a running into the kicker penalty? The penalty still left them with a 4th and 4 and he decided he needed a TD. Worked.

It was very interesting how that FG turned TD developed.

Ok....I'm still trying to figure out who showed up instead of the CCH team that played HHS last time? OR....was that a 'new' HHS team?

I'd love to see the stats, how many touches did Gray get tonight? How many did he get on 9/24?
