Can the Pirates slow down the highest scoring offense in the class?

This should be a dandy as it usually is. I think these 2 teams are pretty darn close from what I can see. Breathitt really has not been tested except for the Hazard game and they really made that game closer than what it should have been by shooting themselves in the foot over and over. I think this game as on the west side with Bell/Central may very well decide who goes to the final. I would love to see an all mountain final with Bell and Breathitt or Belfry. I can't pick against my team in this one and I really feel like they pull it out 28 to 21 or somewhere in that range.

In reality though this should be a pretty even game. I would not be surprised to see either team win in a well played game. If either of them gets sloppy and turns the ball over, it could even be a 2 or 3 touchdown margin.

 

Sounds like Trent is very much a double threat and can beat you through the air or on the ground. Containing him and taking away the big play will be key for the Pirate defense.

Unless Breathitt gets a safety, I guaratee they won't be 17. They won't kick a FG.

 

I agree with Watusi. I think they are very different teams, but evenly matched. If both play well, it should be close. If one or the other makes some mistakes, the margin could go bigger for one or the other.

 

The key for Belfry is to control the ball with their ground game, chew up clock and keep Breathitt's offense off the field.

 

For Breathitt, they need to hit some big plays in the passing game and finish the drives with TD's. If they can strike early and get a big lead, I think it puts a lot of pressure on Belfry's offense.
