Definitely the best thing for this young man. Get out of Northern Kentucky and into a new environment and start anew. Hopefully he gets his head straight, and succeeds at Auburn.

I agree and I wish Pike nothing but the best at Auburn.

Did he get expelled from Dixie? I would think that with what was involved anyone else would be gone!

"We had a fall break and it was a good time to go down," said Pike.

Dixie had a Fall Break last week?

BTW not a big surprise at all.......

BTW will this whole mess hurt the strides that Dixie has made with the new football field and gym? Meaning with all the bad stuff coming out of this, will a lot of kids decide to go to SK or Scott instead of Dixie?

I am shocked! I wish Pike the best of luck at Auburn!

Kenton county schools were off Monday and Tuesday of this week. The 1st trimester ends friday. Kenton county has been on trimesters for a while now.

It's not all that unusual for top prospects to enroll early, but this does smell of getting away. It is probably best for all involved, Pike and Dixie. Hopefully Auburn has a plan in place to keep Zeke on the straight and narrow. He's leaving the protective umbrella and won't get as many chances if he slips up from here on out. I wish him well. It would be terrible for him to waste the opportunity and talent he has.

If my son just got into trouble with drugs the last thing I would do is send him off to a college far away. This the making of a bad situation. I really hope he does the right thing and gets his life in order.

This is already happening. The new facilities and Coach Campbell are already getting some of the Edgewood kids that normally would have went to Dixie even though they live in Scott's district. With the bad publicity and possible coaching change at Dixie this could get even worse. Plus, Scott should contend for the district title the next two years.

Lets not exaggerate the "bad stuff."

No is the answer to your question.

C'mon down but stay off the twitter, elephants don't forget. Oh, they realize it was just a kid trashing and they mostly loved it, he will be fine its a nice school, and they love Football. Hope he stays healthy and gets to play some.

Good luck to him. It's certainly ambitious of him to take this route. I hope it works out for him.

Good luck Zeke! Stay on the right side of the tracks - you have God given abilities - make the most of them!

It seems this kid really needs to mature a lot, and I hope this move helps him. I would hate to see such talent go to waste by another kid doing the wrong things. I hope he excells at Auburn and wish him all the best. Good luck kid, name NKY proud.

Good move for Zeke. Wish him all the best.
