You sir are a sad excuse for a human.... the fact that you are and have continually put this young man down!!!! I know Zeke and see what he goes through, the constant bashing by people that don't know him would make anyone of any age be the way he is. He has an amazing family that make him accountable for his actions. I am glad that you live in the Pike houshold to know how they handle things in their family. Yes he has done things in the past like all of us, it's called growing up and learning from our mistakes. Maybe you should do the same. I find it funny that he was quartered and hung with no proof!!! He did not do it and he said that he did not so therefor he didn't!!!! The news stories were very sad and people that wanted their five seconds of fame to kick a " kid" when he was down is the sadest part. Mrs. Stegner getting on TV and speaking about nothing that she is even involved in is also sad, she had a personal vendetta against him. In closing there is so many other facets to this whole thing more lives affected than what anyone even knows, but it doesn't matter because you all got what you wanted and that is his high school carreer ended so kudos to those who did this to him. He will not get to have a prom or graduation with friends and family to celebrate with him. No matter what he does it will never be right for you, if he goes back to DHHS or goes to Auburn no matter what he is wrong. So good luck Zeke work hard and make your family PROUD!!!

I don't blame the Stegner's at all..They have a very good reason to have a beef with young Mr. Pike..You know why and so do half of the nky posters on BGP...People need to quit standing up for this ADULT... He has gotten away with more stuff over the years that everyone trys to keep under wraps..It will be a different ball game at Auburn. He better grow up quick or he will be in for a rude awakening when he gets to Auburn.

This post is the perfect example of the problem. Blaming everyone else but where the problem truely lies, Mr. Pike himself.

This online class thing works out nicely for Zeke to work on his game. He is heading to CA to work with Cam Newton and Big Ben's QB coach George Whitfield.

247 Sports has dropped Zeke from a 5 to a high 3 star.

Towles has been bumped up to 4.

FWIW

They also have Gunnar Kiel ranked no. 1 with the only 5 star ranking and he didn't make the Elite 11. Just goes to show how subjective these rankings/ratings are.

Jameison Winston is a 5 star also..

My bad, I was looking at PRO style only. JW is a great duel threat talent.

Good for him. I wish him well. I hope he has a tremendous future at Auburn.

This is one of those times I wish I lived in NKY so I could know the entire story from both sides and form my own opinion on Zeke Pike. From afar I just want to see a Ky kid shine on a national stage.

I wish Zeke good luck at Auburn but find it funny that his head coach never has come out publicly to defend his prize pupil. Could it be that he is sick of the drama!

Lots of dumb decisions being made, just hope they're lessons and not just mistakes to be repeated later.

I have known the Pike's for a whole lot of years and followed Zeke since he was about 10 years old on the local sports scene. I have always tended to give him the benefit of the doubt whenever stories have tended to pop up about different issue. I like the kid and have actually found him to be engaging and charismatic but also have seen the ultra competitive side and some poor judgement. However there are a whole lot of kids over the years that I have seen make mistakes. The difference is that with Zeke's dad being a high profile athlete and local businessman Zeke's exploits tend to get into that 24 hour newscycle. While that high profile has created some opportunities for Zeke over the years I tend to think it has to be a burden at other times.

With all of that being said the sheer amount of rumors of things that he has alledgedly been involved with over the years leads me to believe that where there is smoke there is fire. People on this site and in the community tend to root for the student athletes to succeed but with the litany of poor choices it almost seems like he is letting the community down. I don't think anyway is asking to be Tebow like in his choices but some accountability and humility would go a long way with the rabid sports fans in the community.

The sad thing for me is that when I heard of this latest incident or some of the other incidents is that I wasn't surprised.

I hope Zeke goes down to Auburn and turns everything that happened into a positive and has a great career.

I wish Zeke good luck at Auburn but find it funny that his head coach never has come out publicly to defend his prize pupil. Could it be that he is sick of the drama!

I don't know if Spritzky wants to say anything or not, but school policy probably prohibits him from saying anything publicly even if he wanted to speak up. Who isn't sick of the drama?!?
