For those that make the drive between Ashland and NKY which way do you usually go? I've gone the Ohio side from Cincy and then crossed over. I've gone the AA and then south on 23. Unless there is a much shorter way I lean towards the AA simply because of not hitting the small towns and all of the stop signs and 45 MPH.

AA is the way I come to NKY. I much prefer that route.

I sure hope somehow Ashland can pull this one out. If for no other reason than the great BGP fodder that would ensue.

AA is the way travel to NKY as well. Much better route than the OH side IMO.

I'm not sure who will win, but if CCH thinks they have an easy game it could be a long trip home, the Tomcats are pretty good.

CCH has a recent history of 2nd-round losses in the playoffs. They are not going to overlook Ashland.

No doubt about that.

Being on the sidelines and having played Ashland, the overall team speed is above average. Their defense is the key. If they play to their level, CovCath is in trouble. I guess what I am saying is the key to this game is CovCath's Oline vs Ashland's front 7. I haven't seen CovCath in person but I am still saying Ashland in a close one.

I'll be there, but I'm not sure why. I've heard rumors that Coach Hart and the Tomcats realize they have no shot against the Colonels since theguru states it will be a blow out. After all, he is theguru when it comes to Kentucky high school football. I've also heard rumors that the basketball players on the team aren't even going to football practice this week, that they decided to go ahead and start basketball practice since they don't have a shot at all. Maybe we can just watch the 1st half Clyde, and go on down to the Texas Roadhouse since Cov Catholic's starters won't play in the 2nd half.

Take the AA, but when you get to US 23 at Lloyd (Greenup Co.) cross the river to Ohio (via the bridge on top of the dam) and come up Rt 52 to the Ashland bridge. Traveling the OH side from Lloyd saves about 15-20 minutes. You will have a non-stop drive avoiding all the trafic lights on the KY side through Greenup, Raceland and Russell.
