I'm confused...how is sexual harrassment less bad than what John Edwards did? I mean, I think what he did was horrible, but it wasn't the sexual part that was bad, it was the infidelity...and honestly, maybe I'd have not even felt that the infidelity was that bad if not for Elizabeth Edwards' health condition. I'm just trying to get a grip on why sexually harrassing someone is less offensive to you than infidelity. And if Cain were married at the time, one could argue that the sexual harrassment WAS infidelity.

I don't think anyone is saying it is less bad just that it seems like there isn't a single person in DC who hasn't been involved in some kind of scandal involving the word sexual in it. After a while it seems almost expected.

Ahhh...I get it now. I was thinking you were comparing his scandal (the affair) to the sexual harrassment, without regard to the CFL issue.

O'Reilly questioned him on it last night. But that's about all I watch of FNC, so they may indeed be lacking in their coverage of this. I would think if this were candidate Obama, they'd be talking about it more than ESPN talks/talked about Tim Tebow or Brett Favre.

Of course their not fair and balanced any more than the New York Times has all the news that's fit to print. It's just a motto.

 

However, I've seen the story several times on Fox today.

I saw Greta, O'Reilly, The Five, Geraldo, Special Report all mention it.

Fully realizing no candidate is going to be an expert in every phase the fact that Mr. Cain said that China "intends" to develop nuclear capabilities only adds to the picture I have of him as someone that is simply not ready.

That aspect of him is what raises serious red flags about Cain in my mind.

 

But to be fair, I would have said the same thing about Obama, yet that has been the President's overwhelming strong suit (the only one, from my vantage point). Should Cain get the nomination, which I don't think he will, he would need to seek a similar Veep choice ala Obama. Get a Newt Gingrich type who could provide the much-needed experience to qualm concerns.

As was stated......If this were candidate Obama it would be discussed at the top of the hour and every thirty minutes as well with running updates at the bottom of the screen on their ticker line. I'm not claiming other media outlets are fair and balanced but that is Fox News' motto and it is a false motto. Period. If this were about candidate Obama they would have already had the accuser on the set making the rounds to all of the shows that you all watch.
