I have no issue with his beliefs. Everyone needs to form their own opinion on that issue. My point dealt more with his declaration that he would sign a Constitutional amendment if it was put on his desk.
October 26, 201114 yr There are two reasons to believe he wasn't particularly serious: (1) he has no staff or campaign structure to speak of in the early primary states, which is quite a bit more important than it sounds and (2) he seems ill-prepared to defend his signature economic plan or even discuss other important issues. His latest campaign ad, on the other hand, is a thing of beauty.

I was just pointing out his inability to be on one side of an issue already. I have never seen anyone pick both sides like that. Unless he just can't articulate his thoughts. Which also would be bad for a presidential candidate.

(And I'm not saying I agree with it.)
October 26, 201114 yr I don't think the GOP wants to nominate Romney so they will continue to look for another option no matter how ridiculous it is. Herman Cain is going to be the GOP nominee for POTUS. For two reasons, 1) People who listen to Beck/Limbaugh and need to be told who to vote for are in LOVE with the "999 plan" and 2) As Habib said, "his latest campaign ad...is a thing of beauty." Mr. Cain is proving to be just want the GOP wants right now.
