Carson Palmer Watch

I hate to be this guy but you do it when he has decent games. HE IS HORRIBLE today.

He does it when he has decent games because people do it when he has bad games like this. I mean look at his first two appearnaces people were all over saying how bad he played. Then you tried to act like people shouldn't say it when he has done well. This thing well just go back and forth haha.

Brutally bad today. Improving the Gals draft position the last two weeks.

I thought I saw a stat during the game stating that he has had the most INTs as a Raiders QB since 2006? Is that correct?

Didn't want to be that guy, but.... Palmer had a pretty good day yesterday. He did miss two wide open guys for scores, that would have altered the outcome of the game. There was one play where a d lineman came in with a big swat for a strip. How Palmer held on to the ball on that play was amazong.

Didn't see any of the game yesterday, but from the numbers looked like CP played well....Unfortunately the Raiders are now 3-4 with him under center. Looks like the Bengals will be getting a top 15-18 pick from the man in black.

Raiders blew that game yesterday... And as a fan of a team dependent on Lions losses to make the playoffs, I'm not too pleased about it.

But yes, Carson played well enough for them to win.

Hope they keep losing and the pick for the Gals keeps getting better.

Not a good year for CP. Bad division and he didn't play well. He should have stayed retired. I'm glad he didn't because the Bengals can really benefit from the Oakland picks.

Was hoping for Oakland to get a playoff win so we could pick up another first rounder. CP played ok yesterday but not good enough. So Bengals get a first rounder this year and a second rounder next?

Palmer threw for 400 yards and 2 touchdowns and one pick yesterday. That is a pretty good day, and should win on most days. However a familiar face is also running the defense in Chuck Bresenham. Which produced the same results as when he was here, offense has a good day but the defense can't stop anyone. They need to fire him, and no doubt Palmer has to play more consistent if they want to make the playoffs next year.

Will CP have to compete for the starting position next season, or will it be handed to him?

Jason Campbell is a free agent. I would say it will be Palmers job next year. Remember the main offense for the Raiders when Campbell was playing was Mcfadden and his big plays. Bush gave them yards too, but not the explosive big plays that really help the offense. So I think it definitely will be Palmers, and it will be a make or break year for Palmer and Jackson. They are tied together now, and will have an offseason together so if they fail at it next year. Then both of their careers could be done.

I'm glad to see that almost everyone has come to their senses about CP. Now if you guys just would have listened 3 year ago.....

Palmer was one of the 2 or 3 worst in the NFL at interceptions. I guess his receivers kept running the wrong routes. He threw about 1 pick in every 20 attempts. Although, Jason Campbell threw to the same receivers and was one of the better QB's in the NFL in interceptions, only throwing one INT every 40 attempts. Hmmmm ......
