Starters or no starters...T wins by 3 tds!

My hand is raised... I have a question. When was the last time Moeller lost 3 games in a row? I'd think that is a pretty rare thing but I admit I do not know Moeller history.

Moeller is big and strong not so much speed driven. They will remind you of Cincy X . Trinity O line is probably the key We know about Dawkins and Quick speed. Moeller also has a big time wide receiver, Medaris (kind of a hybrid between a TE and WR). Overall, Trinity has just too much size and speed. Trinity: 42 Moeller 28

It's been a rough few days up on Montgomery Road, and I doubt the mood gets much better after Friday.

The good news for Trinity fans is most among the Moeller alumni/fan base have all but conceded this game. If you have ever spent any time around GCL people, and Moeller people in particular, you would know that is high praise indeed. Three weeks ago, Moeller could have been playing OSU at the Shoe and most Moe fans would have called it a pickem. :D

Because of Ohio's playoff system, this game will have an impact on Moeller's postseason fuuture. They're in the playoffs, but where they end up seeded will be determined by this game. The million dollar question is, Is a potentially better seed worth risking injury to kids you'll need to make a run next week?

I know the Harbin's pretty well, and my guess is the answer is no. As long as they don't fall far enough to draw into a first round game with X, Colerain, or maybe Middletown, the Crusaders powers that be probably don't care who they play next week. Even if it costs them a home playoff game. Heck, they could end up at Sycamore, which is much closer to school than their actual home field.

The "scientific poll" above is interesting. Can anyone recall whether this year -- there has been as hight as 11+% who pick against the Rocks????

Personally, I don't believe it's going to be an easy game for the Rocks, as everyone else seems to think. But, then....just about every game on this year's schedule has made me uneasy. Having seen several games where the 1st half was not played well, doesn't make me feel any better. Too many games weren't completely controlled from Q1-Q4 for me to ever feel like there's an "easy" win or a 3TD or more win by the Rocks. Oh...and the penalties.

Because of the Harbin Rating System, Moeller will not rest it's starters. They want a home game and all the trappings that go with it.

When I brought up the "resting starters" rumor to the Moeller folks I know they chuckled. It was nothing but a sandbagging rumor. All starters will play.

However, earlier in the season they were not to concerned about this game. After the Elder and St. X games, Trinity got their attention. Matter of fact one guy said "like a playoff game."

This will be the week T gets a reality check! :D

My prediction is Moeller will do everything in their power to knock your starting QB out of the game ,literally !!! This includes , but not limited to , late hits , cheap shots , bite fingers in the pile , any thing clean or dirty . It's no big secret either . On another site the GCL and GMC teams are bragging how they knocked Bardo and Towles and two other HHS QB's out of the game , and also said they were taught to do that. I'm just posting what I read by people that are "in the know " of Ohio high school football.

With that said maybe T returns the favor! :D

^ I don't expect Travis to be near a pile.

Agreed ! I hope Travis and the whole 1st team is sitting on the bench about halfway through the 2nd QTR with a 35 point lead ,and with no injuries !

I don't much care for John Rodenburg, but I seriously doubt he is teaching his players to do that. At least he didn't used to.
