Boone County vs Ryle. Should be a good one.

The round-robin of Boone/Ryle/NDA/NCC.

A good opening night match up will be Casey County at Marion County on Nov. the 28th.

Those should be some good match-ups!

Considering the increasing popularity of mid-season tournaments for HS teams, love to see Northern Ky put a decent one together. The best of the 8th, 9th, 10th region ?

Seems like NKy teams always traveling south for those events . . .

Casey-Lincoln should be a good one, but we will have to wait until February.

South Oldham/Walton in both games last year the difference in both games was one point. They have the possibility of playing three times this year.

Kind of like the Famous Recipe Classic used to be?

What does Casey Co have coming back from last years regional runner-up squad?

Perry County Central is absolutely loaded this year. They might have won it all last year if star guard Kendall Noble hadn't been injured (knee) in the first few minutes of their state tournament game aginst Butler, a game they lost by two. They have their key players back, plus the addition of a couple of transfers who were the best players at their previous schools.

Their game vs Clay County in the WYMT Mountain Classic in Hindman on Jan 12 will be a test of two of the mountains best and the favorites to win their respective regions. Also, they have a road game at Scott County February 10th that should be interesting. Coach Randy Napier won the state title pre-consolidation at MC Napier. He has the ingredients with this team to win it again.

Have there been any more new additions for W-V this year, as in the past, that may potentially again be difference-makers?

No.

January 13th Notre Dame at Boone Co.

Last year Boone just escaped @NDA with a 49-47 win. Got to see Sydney Moss hit a nice 12 foot jumper at the end of the game to seal it for Boone. With both teams returning a few key players and with Boone adding a few new faces and ND bringing up some players for a great JV team last year it will be interesting to see how this one goes come January.

We may be doing just that for next year. Details to come, but a nice showcase on the horizon.
