No bashing here, only truth.

They are a lot closer to 5-0 than 0-5.

Somebody please call The Captain.

The Bengals defense didn't play like a number one defense! The Bengals got a lucky win something they rarely get. Glad we got the win though! Who Dey!

Good to see that this team can go on the road and win a game even if they arent playing well.

There were a bunch of changes on offense and it was the right time for all of them.

Dalton to Green connection could be a dangerous combination in the near future, if it isn't already.

I believe that it already is; once it gets more polished, it will be a lot more dangerous.

A lot of people talk about how bad we do in drafting but this year we did great!

Kind of ugly game, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Regardless, it's a win and all that matters. Dalton's leadership capabilities are definitely there though, I see today's game and probably another one as a loss if Palmer was still commanding the offense.

Get rid of CP and what do you know......

Well since you all wanted me to say something about it I will. :D

Cats the Bengals made the playoffs twice in 6 years of him being the starting QB all season, would have been 3 if special teams didn't blow it. The other years they still had a chance. Last year while playing the hardest schedule in the league, the Bengals had their first really bad season under Palmer. Now this year the Bengals are playing the easiest schedule in the league, and have an offensive coordinator who does mix it up and is aggresive. Marvin even said after the game that Gruden played a hand in talking him into going for it. With Brat still at OC, they probably kick the field goal and then lose.

As for this game if they win with Palmer, they probably do. It is so easy to not look at the big picture, and just remember last year. People act like Palmer was always the reasons why they lost games. When he usually helped win more games than he helped them lose. Last year he threw a ton of pick 6's. However not all were his fault, some were receivers not running right routes or not going for the ball. I also admit some were definitely on him, and made you wonder what the heck he was looking at to make that throw. People have to stop just looking at last year and how Palmer did against the toughest schedule in the league, in deciding what they think of him. This year honestly the Bengals probably are 5 and 0 if Palmer was the starter, they probably don't need all these last minute comebacks to win. He had a bad year last year, but it does happen. Brees I believe even threw the ball to other team more than Palmer did last year. It happens, but with a new OC this year and talented young receivers who do the right things this year, and the easiest schedule in the league he probably does pretty well last year. We saw that the last two games of the year last year, and that was without an AJ Green to throw to. So they very well could be 5 and 0 right now with Palmer, because they probably don't need the last minute comebacks. Which even if they did Palmer already proven he can do that, and has done that but against even better defenses in Steelers and Ravens.

Are you all sure you want to have me talk about Palmer again? :D I like Dalton and believe he is going to be a good one and am moving on from Palmer, but if you all want to keep having these discussions and call me out then feel free too. :D WHO DEY!

Now for the game, it wasn't always pretty but all that matters is that they won! Dalton made some big plays, and so did the defense in the red zone.

Also has anyone else noticed the Bengals actually have done well on challenges this year (knock on wood). Not only that they have been more aggresive this year. I think a part of that has to do with Gruden being on the field with him. Our game management besides going for two in the Denver game has been ten times better this year by Marvin. In the past Marvin does the conservative route and kicks a field goal and tries to rely on his defense to get the ball back. However today he decides to go for it, and it pays off. Which Marvin even said Gruden helped talk him into it. I think Gruden has probably helped him out more than once this year in game management. Because this year Marvin has actually been aggressive and has made some smart decisions for a change this year.

They have done pretty good the last few years when it comes to the draft
