Final.

All Rebels, after Simon Kenton scored first on a blocked punt for a touchdown.

Pioneers without a first down in the first half. Simon Kenton has now gone two weeks without an offensive touchdown.

Its hard too watch SK after enjoying Simpson and Lawrence the last few years...They still have a solid D but they still run the same Offense they did with Chad taking the snaps and nobody on this team is close to him talent wise at the QB position...

Maybe SK's "O" can get fat next week vs. a Dixie team that has "held" their opponents to only 326 points in their seven games????

I'd love to see the time of possession, SK's defense was on the field forever tonight. Change at QB tonight but to no avail, SK just can't move the ball. Eighty-eight yards of total offense. Very impressed with Boone's QB, no reason they shouldn't have a bit more diversion in their offense with him at the helm. Both teams have big games next week, BC hosts Campbell while SK and Dixie faceoff. Even if SK beats DH they likely still travel to Trinity due to the tie-breaker.

SK had 88 yards total offense coach of the year for Marksberry! Bench the starting qb because of an awful O-line.

Ryle hosts Campbell next week and SK hosts Dixie. Boone must have a bye week next Friday since they have already played 8 games to be best of my knowledge. Congrats to Boone on the easy win.

I guess The Practice Bubble's not working.

No Marksberry being the head coach is what is not working! Bench your starting QB and put your best WR at QB smart move. Now your Best WR is all beat up it was almost like he was being punished tonight. The defense did a good job but they can only do so much. It just goes to show tonight that it is not the players! It is the playing calling and the coaching!

The play calling is the same as last year only they don't have the horses to get it done this year...

Run a different offense then..

That is about what I figured to be the case, it looked pretty similar against Beechwood in the first game.

I knew that Simon Kenton was definitely going through a rebuilding phase before the season started. I figured things were going to be much more of a challenge and this season is becoming evident. I hear a lot of talk about how Marksberry is horrible. The losses of talented and experienced players has been a big issue over the last two seasons. Players like Simpson, Lawrence, Winkler, and more, probably including experienced linemen and other defensive players are not replaced easily. It will take time to get the team back to the level that those boys brought to the team.

I guess The Practice Bubble's not working.

Now that is funny.
