I know I quoted a post speaking about the general election but the point just got me thinking in general terms of the South's acceptance of a Mormon from New England. To be clear, if it's Obama vs Romney I don't think any religion or geographical hometown "issues" will matter for Mitt in KY. I was honestly questioning it, because I couldn't remember. I assumed she won, but wasn't sure. Was the race pretty much decided by then, or did Hillary still have a shot?
September 28, 201114 yr Reason I said PA will be a close state is because as of right now, Obama is only beating generic, unnamed Republicans by 1 point. Obama carried PA by over ten points in 2008. That is significant change. I think it'll be tighter in Pennsylvania, as the polls you mentioned point out, but there's nothing in their recent track record indicating anything other than blue.

I think Obama wins in 2012....as someone mentioned it's hard to beat an incumbent and I don't think the nation will fully embrace the GOP candidate. They are also predicting this to be the dirtiest presidential campaign ever and well.....what don't we know about Obama? I also think McCain had a chance to beat Obama until he made Sarah Palin his running mate. I think that hurt him more than anything else. Too bad we didn't know about Glen Rice then.....

The only reason I think Obama will win is because no one will emerge as better. He'll win by default.
