No, the government is not capable of rigging the voting machines. Way too many people are involved in the process for it to be a possibility. No chance you could ever get the other party to go along with it either.

Let me throw in some info that might help you out. Number 1, the federal government does not control voting. The states control voting. Number 2, since the states control the voting, then we obviously have some states where Republicans are in charge and in some states Democrats are in charge. How would you ever get those two sides to agree to rig an election? Do you now see how it truly is impossible to rig an election?

I'd like to see Christie run. I am interested that he appeals to both sides. Not saying I'd vote for him but I am intrigued by what he brings to the table. I'd like to hear him in a debate against Obama. That could very well be the deciding factor in my vote if that happened. Too bad he probably isn't running.

Obama's approval rating is at 41%. If he wants to feel good about re-election, it needs to be at 50%. No incumbent president since Roosevelt whose approval rating in April of the election year was at 50% or better has lost the election.

 

By the way, Congress' approval rating is currently at 11%!! :eek: That is the lowest in history.
