First, the defense is horrific and likely even worst than last season. Second, Brady is going to have to play spotless football for them to have a chance at contending.

New England was up at one point 21-0, which also shows very positive change in the character of the Bills. Brady was picked off four times today and the defense flat out looked horrible, even with picking Fitzpatrick twice. New England's defense needs to make big strides in improving the defense or else it could be much longer of a season for the Patriots than some anticipated.

Yeah... It was a bad drop. Wide open with just a few yards left to the endzone. Easy TD if he makes the grab.

Welker is simply a stud. He'll be in the running for leading the league in receptions again, especially if he does what he did yesterday, I think it was 16 catches. That's impressive, I don't care who you are.

 

I really like Fred Jackson. It is going to be interesting to see what the Bills do with him towards the end of the seasons because he is going to be expecting and probably pretty deserving of a nice pay day. But they have quite a bit of money wrapped up in C.J. Spiller.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a stadium so excited for a week 3 win. The Buffalo people are enjoying this start and rightfully so.

I thought it comical that at the end Hoodie lost his mind and cost his team a timeout that if not for the penalty could have made a difference in the drive that could have been from Brady.

He threw 4 picks yesterday and they barely lost. I think that's a stretch.

 

I actually picked Buffalo in my NFL Pool this week. I don't think they're better than New England though. I just had a feeling they'd get this one.

 

Brady matched his int total from last year in this one game. That shows how amazing last year was for him, and how rare a day like yesterday was.

 

I don't expect the Pats to lose much during the regular season. However, the defense, if it doesn't improve, will once against prevent them from playoff success. Brady isn't going to get that 4th Super Bowl unless the D steps up and finds itself. Of course, he could always luck out like Peyton and have his mediocre to bad defense play lights out for 3 or 4 games in January and February.
