Beechwood has never beat Mayfield

Murray has beat Mayfield but has only done so 1 time since the early 70's. When they were in the same class Mayfield and Murray played twice a year most years

 

You must not like Murray very much. "Winless Football Series in the State"!:idunno: I guess that counts out the Mayfield/Murray series.

Bowling Green's most lopsided series are 18-0 versus Greenwood and 15-0 versus Logan County. Each of which will have one more added to them this season. In Greenwood's case, I wouldn't be shocked to see theirs increase by two.

 

Warren Central's high is a modest 8-0 versus Bullitt Central. They haven't played in 17 years.

I doubt they are the longest but Garrard County does have two fairly long streaks:

 

-Garrard has an 11-0 record against Madison Southern

 

-Garrard has an 0-10 record against Somerset

 

I would have thought that Garrard would have liked to have had a chance to end their streak against Somerset this season given what they return and what Somerset lost rather than declining a game with the Briar Jumpers.

Paducah Tilghman went to 26-0 against Lone Oak earlier this year.

I know Trigg County beat Mayfield a few years back after an 0-24 start.

When did that happen?

what about NewCath vs. Ludlow? They were in the same district for years.

No, NewCath was probably 3A back then.

Scott has never beaten CovCath.

CovCath is undefeated against Campbell County, although they haven't met but a few times.

I didn't know that happened. I do believe there had been a little bad blood between the two so perhaps they wanted to diffuse that. But even though Garrard is much improved this season, I think Somerset would have still been a 10-14 point favorite. But I'd love to see that 0-10 move to at least a 1-10.

I didn't know that happened. I do believe there had been a little bad blood between the two so perhaps they wanted to diffuse that. But even though Garrard is much improved this season, I think Somerset would have still been a 10-14 point favorite. But I'd love to see that 0-10 move to at least a 1-10.

 

After watching Garrard against Danville I think it would have been a great game this season. I'd much rather have played Garrard than make as many trips to Hazard/Perry Central/Breathitt. Nothing against those schools and they'll help Somerset in the long run but the 45 minute drive to Lancaster is much more pleasant--and Garrard would be plenty of competition.

Not sure of the exact number but Rockcastle County has never lost to Madison Southern...I would say close to 20 or so games but don't hold me to an exact number.

 

Has Rockastle ever defeated Boyle or Danville?

 

I know they have played numerous playoff games with Boyle and some with the Ads. Just curious if they have ever defeated either?
