Bracken County has only been around a few years (8) but has played Eminence 6 times. 0-6 against them, which isn't that remarkable.

Whats remarkable is that Eminence has outscored them almost 300-0 in those 6 contests.

Highlands Alumni!! That is seriously considered a game?

It sure is, by the KHSAA. In 1915 (the first year Highlands played football), Highlands lost a game to a squad of Highlands alumni players by a score of 6-0. This was the only time Highlands played Highlands Alumni. Early on in KY prep football, it was not unheard of for prep teams to play games against what we would consider "non-traditional" opponents.

Also of note, Highlands has a winning record (all-time) against EVERY NKY opponent it has ever played against EXCEPT one... Highlands Alumni. Highlands Alumni lead the series 1-0-0 against Highlands!!!

Perhaps Highlands Alumni should be considered Highlands' biggest rival! J/K

The high school I graduated from has never beaten Russell.

It isn't a winless series but Danville leads Lincoln County 21-2, with one of Lincoln's win coming in a forfeit. The only legitimate victory Lincoln County has over Danville was in 1988.

Check out early UK basketball results and you'll notice they played And I believe lost to teams like Lexington High School, Layfayette, & Lexington YMCA (now known as the High St. Y).

Very bizarre games in all sports at all levels early on.

I think that is hilarious!! Probably a good idea not to try and schedule another alumni game. Could prove to add to the loss column. Can you imagine trying to bring down Jared Lorenzen? Guess you will have to chalk that series up to forever in the negative. Wonder if any other schools have an alumni game on their list of games?

Thanks Hatz, West just loves getting under my skin

Don't let it get under your skin, yall have a great program to be proud of!! I'm sure you will have a few more state championships in the coming years too. I already miss it that we (Rockets) don't play yall. Your stadium is neat and it is nice to see all of your fans tailgating. Hopefully when the re-alignment happens we will be back playing again, once in the regular season and once in the playoffs for the region!!
