Get your tickets before Friday. If not, get there no later than 5:00pm and cross your fingers. It will sell out. A friend of mine who is an Elder grad and season ticket holder told me there is tremendous buzz around Cincinnati about this game. Expects it to be the biggest game of the night. A lot of neutral fans expected to attend and see if the Rocks are for real. Maybe even one Fox News Channel host.

I think there will be more than a few like me and my son who want to see this game despite not giving a darn about either program. We just want to see a high level of football in a great environment. We won't be rooting for either team (I'm not a "root for KY" school guy). I am just rooting for a great game.

Not to be overly cautious but I am really concerned heading into this game. We barely beat Elder on our home field last year with much the same team. How in the world are people predicting blowouts on Elder's notoriously tough home field? There is a cognitive disconnect in that logic from my perspective. I know that things change from year to year, but unless Elder lost a ton of players from last years squad I don't expect to see a blowout in our favor.

Exactly my point! I don't see where these inflated predictions are coming from. Even some Trinity fans are predicting we will beat them badly. I just don't see it that way.

Huge night of football in Cincinnati.

Sooner or later the Rocks are going to play in a game where 50-100 points aren't scored.... it may be this one and they will be tested to win a close game. That would be a useful learning tool. I hope they can win and the crystal ball says they do... 20 to 14.
