August 21, 201115 yr I feel sure that someone may had pointed this out a few games ago when it was said. B. Phillips goes to Dusty to tell him to put him at the leadoff position. That,to me anyway says all that need be about Dusty and his players confidence in him. Let me state it different, a players feels a need to tell his manager what should be done to possibly help the team and that was what was done when the team really took off last season.. I am not a fan of letting a manager go during the season at all, especially this late but when the last out is recorded......"Dust" Dusty! The LLWS is showing better fundamental baseball play than the Reds at this point, they can even hit a cut off man and bunt.lol!! College football can't get here soon enough.

August 21, 201115 yr It's clear Sappelt doesn't have what it takes to play everyday at this level. No where close... Why not put Frazier in LF and give Alonso a chance at 3B for a few games and see what he's like over there? It's not like it'll hurt them in the division title race...
