Ugly, ugly, ugly for Conner.

 

Vocke ran a simple dive twice and went 80 yards each time.

 

Conner offense was inconsistent but you can see where they will score some points.

 

Fogle can flat play.

 

BW looked like an experienced team.

Vocke is a stud and might go for 2K this season. Kid can flat out play. Conner needs to get back to the wood shed and go to work. Very few, if any bright spots for the Cougars on this night.

I could definitely see Vocke doing it this season.

That is correct. BW will destroy their NKY 1A brethren this year. Heck, Erdman is a really good back as well.

He was probably over 300 yards rushing tonight on less than 15 carries. A couple of 80 yard TD runs and a couple of 60 yarders. There is a "wow" moment every game you watch him. Style wise, think Barry Sanders. Stop and go on a dime, great vision, acceleration and speed.

I agree that he will be out of the 2nd half in some games, but NKY Class A is not strong as a district like it's been in past years and could really see Vocke putting up 200 yards, if not more in two quarters against those teams.

Vocke getting 2K would be a heck of an accomplishment. Beechwood only has 3 district games this year in 1A and Vocke will likely be done early in those games. The rest of the schedule is against higher class teams including a couple of 6A schools, defending 2A state champ New Cath, 4A Cov Cath, etc. It is a tough schedule so 2k would be impressive to say the least.
