Your teams have always known how to throw and run the ball, but they have never learned how to stop their opponents from doing one or the other or both against them. :ohbrother:

 

By "comparable" I mean rated close to one another rather than their offensive or defensive philosophy.

I've always drank a lot of kool-aid when it comes to supporting the Tigers, but at times it pays to be realistic. I am not pulling any "act" when I say that they are way down this season. To our advantage, we will still have big roster numbers to possibly wear down some teams. In addition, we will have a continuity of sound coaching, great team discipline, and Tiger winning tradition on which to rely. However, given our schedule and lack of playmakers, we are going to be in a constant battle to just keep our heads above water.

 

You have had the opportunity over the past 2-3 years to see St. X.'s Freshman and JV teams perform, and have also probably heard comments from family relatives at Tigertown. Haven't you also already drawn somewhat the same conclusion? :idunno:

I have not drawn any conclusions yet about the Tigers. I was still in the gathering "Info" mode. I have never had anything but a healthy respect for your program.

 

While Yes I have had the opportunity to see some of the X squads from the past few years - this is a new year with new kids - some maybe having been 'reborn.' YOu never know.

 

I do wholeheartedly agree with your responses to Uk fan - - I have seen SK several times past few seasons, and it is a bit early for them to"crow." Nice program - good potential - but not there yet.

The three things I have highlighted are three reasons I believe St. X will better than most of the teams CURRENTLY ranked ahead of them. SK and several other teams probably have better speed and talent than X but those three bolded items I believe will carry X to victory over SK and maybe a few other teams who on paper, should be better than X.

Yes TigerMom just like Clyde said about half a mile north there is a BW3's, McDonalds, Wendy's, Buffalo Bobs, Snappy, Poppa Johns and Frisch's.

This game just got a lot better. At work today I found out one of my supervisors went to ST X and played for them. The smack talking began. He did tell me something interesting though when he went to ST X he never lost to Trinity.

I think the final score will be 35 to 7 SK all the way! Also I was told that in the Midnight Madness scrimmage SK's new QB Kuntz threw for 278 yards.
