Best part is exactly what you said, Cal has pretty much set up the precedent that if you go to UK you're getting drafted. Even if they don't make the NBA, those guys will make a roster and I'm pretty sure most HS/College kids would gladly take a few 100k a year to travel in Europe as well.
June 24, 201115 yr Good for Faried. Get a nice guaranteed contract and he should be a fine NBA player for years. I am thrilled for this kid. Also thrilled that Jorts and Liggins were drafted. Good fit for Mack I think.

June 24, 201115 yr Draft observations of note: Gotta love Josh Harrelson getting drafted before Josh Selby. That is hilarious to me. Congrats to Harrelson! Singler drops to round 2 ... should he have declared last year when his stock was higher? Not even a guaranteed contract now. All the trades that happen in the NBA draft make watching it almost worthless for me. Watch the lottery picks and then read about the rest the next day. When you see how far highly touted players drop or even fail to get drafted, you realize the NBA is by far the toughest pro league to make it in. As others posted above, as if Cal needed any more help in recruiting, the mileage he can get out of Harrelson and Liggins getting drafted and "The Kentucky Effect" may have more impact than the first rounders.
