Yeah not a lot of quality in that pick. Thompson is good and may end up being a nice player but I see him being nothing more than a role player at best at this level, more than likely earning minutes coming off the bench. At least with Valanciunas or somebody like that you have someone who is looking to be part of the foundation along with Irving.

On a side note, how come so many 6'8" guys have the wingspans of 7'1" guys; but you almost never hear of a 7'1" guy with the wingspan of a 6'8" guy?
