Track the NBA Finals - Mavs vs. Heat

Some thoughts:

- You would've thought LeBron and Wade would've learned from KD's "title belt" celebration last series not to gloat with time on the clock against Dirk....Wade can't play better than he did last night.

- When Dallas' "3" (Dirk, Terry, Marion) pretty much match point for point the Big 3 for Miami, Dallas will win more often than not.

- Can we finally stop with all this "Big 3" talk? It's painfully obvious Bosh is no where close to a star. Pat Riley has to be kicking himself that he gave that guy superstar money. If they don't win it this year, they may try to move him to improve the supporting cast around Wade & LeBron (cause really those two are all you need)?? :idunno:

- All the pressure in the world falls on Miami now. Can LeBron & Wade (specifically LeBron) handle it?

- Will the Heat continue to try to "outshoot" Dallas?

Should be a great 3 games in Big D.

... I cannot believe I did that. I turned the game off with seven minutes left after Wade hit that three to put the Heat up 15...

Although, I did really enjoy the last episode of Game of Thrones on my DVR...

...ugh... :ohbrother:

I"m kind of glad this happened. Miami has played better this postseason when the pressure has been on them. Coming of a historic collapse with 3 games in a row in Dallas, I don't know how it gets more pressure packed than that.

I get that it was a collapse, but I am not seeing the historical significance of it all. Not that it was not impressive, but Dallas has done this multiple times this postseason and so has Miami. Heck, Miami's comeback (or Chicago's collapse) in game 5 last series was a lot more historic. The Lakers collapse in Game 4 of the NBA finals three seasons ago was worse.

I agree, and I also believe it's better for the Heat that it happened in Game 2 rather than game 4 or 5 in Dallas. Heat have 2 days to refocus and adjust to going to Dallas, and I believe they win 2 of 3 in Dallas.

Heat SHOULD now know that they are not a jump shooting team and in order to close out games they need to drive the lane and attack the rim if they are going to win the title.

To have a shot in this one I think the Heat only need one in Dallas. I would think they'd have a chance to win games 6 and 7 at home if necessary.

Dallas has yet to really play all that well. They had 20 turnovers last night.

I agree kind of. I think the Heat absolutely have to win game 3.

With the way Wade played they were extremely lucky to come away with a win in that game.

I agree. Terry has not played well yet. Kidd hasn't been able to hit anything all series from the outside. Dirk has been good, but not fantastic (he was the last 5 minutes game 2). With as great as Wade has played, it's gotta be a little alarming for Miami that they haven't been able to take total control.

I expect a much better game from Terry and maybe even Peja at home but he is just brutal on defense. Wade looked pretty tired in the 4th quarter.

"@gregdoyelcbs: The Miami Heat have a house DJ for the same reason the Mavs have a Peja. None"

Miami or Dallas are not favorites of mine but I am pulling for Dallas in this series. I really like Dirk and D. Wade and would be neutral if not for my extreme dislike of the arrogance of espn special LaBum James overrides that.

I thought that Wade should have taken the game over last night instead of playing "too much poin guard", get it to my buddy" but I am glad that he didn't. jmo

Go Mavs, keep James like the golf ball, " Titleless" :D

Yeah pretty much. He let Spice Bosh walk right around him a few different times. He is 9-34 this series. Probably all 9 have been scored on Peja.

I completely agree with everything you said, especially about Bosh. When the deal first went down, I thought that Miami gave him far too much money. I believe that Bosh is a good player, but he is not what I consider to be superstar calliber. If Dallas ends up winning the title, which I believe is very possible of happening, I could see Miami doing what you said with Bosh.
