June 13, 201115 yr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dAa8CVOJLg&feature=player_embedded I'm going to cut him a "little" slack on his comments. Essentially you have a man being challenged. In addition, he's saying them being happy that he lost doesn't change his life nor theirs. Probably too much being made of this. The whole hate-LBJ thing is too much for me. It speaks to the bad side of being a fan. I don't hate LeBron and had he worded his feelings the way you did..'them being happy he lost doesn't change his life any' is all he had to say. I understand he is on the defense but there always seems to be a better way for him to get his point across yet he never seems to be able to find the better way to get his point across.
June 13, 201115 yr Next year is going to be very strange. If the lockout lasts long enough it could be awesome for the older teams (Lakers, Celtics). They won't be worn down by the time the Finals start. If we even have a season. This lockout out is much much different than the NFL lockout. They players don't really have much leverage.

After reading the story on grantland.com my perspective on David Stern changed as well as my usual siding with the players. Something definitely needs to be done about these ridiculous contracts for guys like Eddy Curry. Granted the owners are at fault for handing out money like that but the NBA is in a great place right now. I'd hate for Eddy Curry contracts to be the downfall of it.
June 13, 201115 yr None of the big 3 are going anywhere. That is silly talk. I do not look at it as "house money" they were playing with. It did not become any semblance of that until their slow start. Once they got by the Celtics and the Lakers lost, it was win or bust. I think the "big decision" they need to make is if they want to make James the primary PG or more of a post player. For a good portion of the season and through the finals they had some horrendous stretches on offense. It was finals or bust perception-wise, but if the Heat can survive this emotionally look out. Their team will only get better. Better players can be added, the Big 3 can continue to evolve, and Wade & James can improve how much better they play together. With a lockout LeBron has alot of time to work on his post game and his midrange game, if he comes in next year and isn't much improved in either it will confirm he has no heart. Wade can continue to get more consistent with his shot, which is where his career will have to go as he gets older IMO. I think Bosh will be better in his role next year as well.

And right now I think he has very little heart. He only needs to improve one of those two things this year and the other shoud be his focus the following year. But he should dominate if he works on his post game. We'll see. You think Wade looks at LBJ any differently after the last 4 games?

LBJ should go and work with someone like Hakeem in the post. His midrange game can be refined lateer in his career when he continues to slow down. I'm afraid Wade may look at him different. Unless he knows something that we don't, which is obviously very possible.

They are good friends and he knows who LeBron is and his strengths and weaknesses are both mentally and physically. It is the biggest reason he is in South Beach. Great thread guys but let us start another one since the discussions are beginning to get away from the topic at hand and we are at 13 pages :thumb:
