May 8, 201115 yr This is a terrible way for Phil to go out in every sense. Both the result and the actions of some of the players on his team. Deserved better than this. Odom's I thought was borderline. A flagrant for sure, but I wasn't certain about an ejection. Bynum's was unbelievably pathetic. I thought the Dallas players showed incredible restraint after that one, knowing what is ahead of them.

May 8, 201115 yr I don't condone what Bynum did. Odom's foul didn't bother me that much. I don't think those two actions should be a reflection of the Lakers as a team or organization but I understand why those two fouls will be a reflection of the team and the organization. It is what it is.

May 8, 201115 yr Dallas will get a nice little break now. I'm curious to see what will happen in the western conference finals. I can only hope the grizzlies are there to meet them. Grizzlies were 3-1 vs. the Mavs this season.
May 8, 201115 yr Wow. This is the most pathetic title defense I've ever seen. Pau Gasol is awful right now. 2nd most. Heat got swept in round 1 by the Bulls in 2007......that was before DRose.
