I agree with some posters that there will likely be a drop off in talent after the 2011 season, which is understandable given that their QB is so highly touted.

Since you mentioned it, I think that's pretty darn cool! You have to love the interest. And as we all should know, analyzing a game based on what you think you saw watching the game live can often be very misleading.

 

Further, when talking about how any team will do this this, it's a big advantage to be able to go back and look at last year's games and be able to analyze the returning players.

 

I expect Dixie to be very good this year.

What do the Dixie fans think the average size of the defense and o-line will be this year? I know they had pretty nice size lines last year.

Bruns may be one of the most exciting players in NKY next year, if not the most exciting. Very, very elusive and quick.

They return 2 starters in Withrow and Handlon that will anchor the line and 2 others who saw time in Maloney and Cornet. They will need some of the younger players to step up. Also if the Brady kid that started for Cov Cath as a sophomore can play that would give Dixie 3 solid starters that would go about 260, 270 and 270+. Again the issue will be depth. Handlon was a solid as they come on both sides of the line and Withrow is as strong and quick as they come at this level.

You are correct about that with Pike. DeMatteo, the backup qb was injured. Still hr should have took a knee. I know that the starting defense was pulled early in the third, and the starting offense at the end of the third. Cohorn, Leonard, Bruns were pulled two mins. into the third.
