Dixie, i hear, is doing a great job of being resourceful with outside talent. AAU basketball is drawing some top talent to the hardwoods at DH and the football team will benifit greatly from this as well. Very talented QB will be Soph next year and loaded with raw potential is coming to DH as soon as school is out!

 

This is the AAU effect and has nothing to do with the school. Kids want to play with talent today instead of riding with the boys they grew up with like we did back in the day.

I doubt Dixie will see Peterson playing next year.

Word on the street is that he is not showing up for school and hasn't for a while and he may not even be living out in Lakeside Park area anymore.

I've always felt that as a coach, Spritzsky was nothing to write home about. We will see this year, as Dixie has some prime talent. If he is once agan in that 5-5, 6-4 range (7-3 maybe acceptable; just depends on how the 7-3 came about) then my suspicions are confirmed. I believe they need a better coaching staff. Good guys, average coaches.

I Believe This Is A Weak Year For 6A. Individually It May Be More Talented Then We Have Seen In A While. But No Teams Really Stick Out To Me. I Think Dixie Will Win The District But With Pikes Inconsistency & Turnovers I Don't Expect To Make Much Noise Come Playoff Time.
