Do it with 10 seconds left and make them tie it at the line, this way you get the ball back and you are tied and go for the last shot, you miss it, OT.... all you need is one point with the 10 seconds left? I was yelling FOUL HIM! But Rick gets paid the big Dollars and I know nothing. Congrats to the Eagles and go as far as you can go.

Foul means at best they can tie you, we all saw how not fouling can be alot worse. I'd have to say I agree with Larry, fould and then run aset play. I kind of think not fouling was a bit of a sign of arrogance by Ricky P.

March 18, 201115 yr They hit a 3 and you go home, foul and you at least have your own chance to win. This actually happened earlier in one of the close games. Can't remember who but they fouled the guy, he hit both throws but the other team go the last shot, was that stupid? The team that fouled is playing on Saturday.

It was the Vandy game and Richmond was up 3 when they did that not 2.

I have no idea why you would even consider that. So many other things could happen for you to win the game including a missed shot. Like I said I will take my chances on him hitting that 3 again.
March 18, 201115 yr Hammer, it was an earlier game I watched it, the Vandy game I was at ball practice. As I watched it I even thought foul him he might miss he didn't, but that last shot... And I can see the point of an ofer hitting that shot. Absurd, not at all it worked.

I see your point kinda and it's easy to say that after the guy hits a really hard 3 but no way am I giving the other team a free pass to tie the game.
March 18, 201115 yr Yeah, it would be a hard decision, but he has to hit those free shots too. I'm just upset, we all took at hit on the brackets but I know a lot of fans who are really hurting.
