Classless move by Hatton at halfcourt chest pumping to the NCC crowd.

High emotions and a young kid....let it be...lets talk about how good the game was not something like that.

Come on...freshman who just led his team to the 9th region title. As long as a kid doesn't do anything obscene there I am ok with it. They aren't pros and they haven't been there before.

I was very surprised by it as everyone was and it seemed uncharacteristic of him. He had a great tournament.

Congrats to Dixie for the win in 4OT!

Disagree. He's been there in AaU state championship games.

Congrats to Dixie. My heart goes out to the NCC players, so hard to take a loss to the sweet 16 in 4 OT's. I hated to see either team lose.

We should not be so judgemental. The kid, a freshmen, just won a very tough 4 OT game for the Regional Championship. Next time I'm sure he will act like he has been there before, because he now has. He is a player and seems like a good kid. He deserves our credit not our criticism. Hats off to him and his team.

I have an even greater appreciation for Geisler's game after today. What heart! He was a warrior. Basically carried NCC for all 4 OT's, and kept from picking up his 5th foul in the process. He was begging for the ball when he hit the big 3 at the buzzer in the 3rd OT. All this on the big college floor, running the full length every possession. Very impressive!

I think what we are trying to say is after a game like that...that would be down the list on things to talk about. I agree it not the best thing to do but also its not the worst...Listened to it on the radio...sounds like a hell of a game!

This is nothing like a State AAU Championship Game. Please don't stir the pot after such a good game.

Does anyone have a box score for both teams?

I didn't follow the game at all, but is this the best 9th region final ever? 4 OT's. Wow.

NCC -Freethrows

Sorry to beat a dead horse but Geisler is player of the year, no doubt about it. I hope the kid gets his wish and plays at the next level in at least a D2 program. I think he can play D1.

Congratulation's to Dixie on a great win after 4 overtimes. I've never heard of a high school region game doing this. Also, NCC played a hard fought game to the end. I wish the senior's the besk of luck. Congrat's to Tournament MVP - Brandon Hatton - not sure why he was not mentioned in an earlier thread. If he did pump his chest give him a break - he is a freshman and high on emotion after 4 OT. Good luck to the RED COLONELS!
