Kentucky 68 Vanderbilt 66

UK finally wins a close one, and they finish the second straight perfect season at home. Most wins in a row at Rupp ever.

Thought they could have waited a bit longer to foul Tinsley but I'll take the win.

UK will know what they need come Sunday. If Vanderbilt beats Florida or Georgia wins vs. LSU and beats 'Bama, UK will have to win against Tennessee to get the #2. They have a split with each, and have the better division record, so they will win any tiebreakers.

Ugly ending but they hit the free throw when they needed and got the W.

Stroke central over here! WOW!

Great moral win for the Cats. Take care of business in Rotten Flop and you will have the #2 seed (Yes, Vandy will lose to Florida).

"Whew" about sums it up for me.

Glad they pulled it out. They really struggle trying to kill time and play slow. Cal shouldn't pull them back until they're up 10 under 2:00.

Also, did they call a walk on Jones while he was dribbling?

According to ESPN tonight the Cats needed to win tonight and Sunday, and needed Georgia to lose on of their final two games. Are you sure UK wins the tiebreaker if they all finish with 6 losses, or even 7 losses?

Kentucky has to win no matter what. If UK wins and either Vandy or Georgia loses, UK gets the #2 seed.

Nice to see the boys win a close one. Turned the corner? Time will tell. Hope so.

The only problem with that is if they wait another 1-2 seconds, does Tinsley toss one up to get three shots? And I think he's shooting about 90% for the season. It's a tough decision no matter what. I'm glad it worked out.

I was under the impression that if it was a 3-way tie w/ UK, Vandy, & UGA that UK doesn't get #2. But if it's a 2-way with either team, UK gets #2. The tiebreaker rules change if there are 3 teams as opposed to 2.
