Do you call the grocery store "Kroger" or "Kroger's"?

Kroger.

 

Barney opened his first store in 1883; saying "Kroger's" would have been technically correct then. Second store opened in 1884, so "going to Kroger's" has been confusing for the past 127 years.

 

Let's go Krogering. I believe was their jingle awhile back.

Krogers for me. People always add an "s" to my last name and I guess those people shop at Biggs, Meiers, Walmarts and Krogers.

I'm pretty upset that "my" Kroger just closed until June for remodeling. I don't know how other feels but I only like going to the grocery store I'm used to going too. Luckily there is another right down the street.

I think what he means is that in Kentucky, it ends up being something like "Biggses" or "Biggs's," which is a whole 'nuther grammar problem altogether.
