Get her something from Victoria Secret its a no lose situation!

I just bought my lady friend a massage from a very ugly, unattractive guy (hopefully)...:ohbrother:

I'm going with the whole cooking dinner and watching some stupid movie route. May throw in a box of chocolates, but we've only been together for about 3 months, and I just dropped quite a bit on concert tickets for her birthday at the beginning of March, so she'll have to just deal with it. :D

Somebody should warn this young lady:p

I leaning towards flowers and a movie at my place. If I feel up to it I may attempt to cook but who knows if that will happen. I did also find a picture frame cube online that they engrave for you and since she is big into photography I thought that might be an option.

^ I don't know about you but I'm not spending $150 on anyone for Valentines day.

I'll likely spend about that, but that includes a dinner for the both of us at a Ruby's Restaurant.

I'm thinking....show her you care....with minimal $ investment...what errands does she need? drop off (and pay) for her drycleaning. Drop off a weeks worth of breakfast----milk, fruit, bagels, coffee---and/or a Starbucks gift card.

Well you could just go get take out from a decent resturant. Then wait untill she is about to come over and put all of the food in pans/skillets on your stove to make it look like you made it.

Thats OK then.

It works out well. We both get great dinners, basically the cheapest red wine on the menu, and I'm done because she knows Ruby's is a ridiculously expensive dinner for two.

I did that when I dated my wife. I called Brio's on the Levee picked it up put it in the oven to warm and fired up some Frank Sinatra. I had her the entire night thinking that my grilled Asparagus was to die for until I finally caved. She laughed and said the mood created was most important.

Oh and depending on how much you like her, get a thoughtful card.

What not to do? Rent a Sylvester Stallone movie like The Expendables or Rambo 4 after taking her to Arbys.

On our first date I took my wife to Wendys. I was playing in a softball tourney and I didn't eat before a game. I had three hits and was error free.

I always make my girlfriend a card. I guess she likes them because she still has every one I have ever made for her. Not to mention its kind of fun busting out the markers, crayons, glue sticks and glitter again.

When my oldest brother was in architecture school he was pretty low on funds. For Valentine's Day one year he cooked spaghetti dinner for his then-girlfriend-now-wife and gave her a bouquet of handmade white origami lilies in a vase. My sister-in-law still keeps it sitting on their mantle, and I've heard her say several times over that its one of the best gifts she's ever gotten.

ORIGAMI FLOWERS

I don't think the little lady I've been hanging out with is expecting anything, so surprise delivery to her work would probably get me some brownie points lol.
