I simply stated my point of view that I don't care where he is, as long as he's the starter next year he won't be going to the Super Bowl. Didn't say he was bad with that comment, didn't say that the only good QB in a season is the one who wins the ring either.

Are you saying all NFL starting QBs are equal, and it is only the team that defines their success of failure?

 

Of course not, but the team around a QB affects the performance more than anyone wants to acknowledge; it is easy to just look at a QB's stats and accomplishments rather than real tape study which is what it takes to ACCURATELY assess a QB's performance; looking at tape is too much work for the local media (outside of Lapham) and anyone on BGP.

No its not that. Just people act like if we get Kolb that we are in good shape, because they think we are getting a good QB. However I was stating how he has really done nothing to really show for sure if he will do any good. Especially when every QB under Andy Reid has done good there, but doesn't mean they will elsewhere. He could be great, but it seems like some people seem to think he would be good.

According to his father, he is really close to his class and getting his degree is really important to him; Peyton Manning stayed in school as well and so did Tebow; it happens.

 

No matter when he comes out, he is going to get drafted by the team coming off the worst season in the league, so waiting a year or two doesn't change the scenario.

 

Of course he could pull a Manning, but he won't.

I'm not a believer in Kolb either, but I thought you were saying it was just because he went to Houston and I thought that was a strange thought. My bad :thumb:.

Carson is and always has been pure class; if he is dressed, he will give it his best effort without question.

This link may have been posted already on this site and if so I apologize as I didn't want to take the time to back through this whole thread. If this is true then I take back what I said about Carson not leaving $50m on the table. I always knew that Carson was not physically the same QB for the last 3 years that he was in his first playoff year.
