I also admire the kids decision. Joe Montana stayed and worked out OK for him. I asked this before, besides Brady/Big Ben/ Dan Marino name some sucessfull QBs who starred as a rookie.

 

Flacco and Ryan both had good rookie seasons. Probably better then Ben other then the SB win.

I am sure Bradford would be the first to admit it was a HUGE gamble. And one he probably regretted after going down early last season. Luckily for him the QBs in this last class sucked, and the Rams had to draft a QB. It really did not effect Bradford much because he never played.

 

I cant think of one qb that would be in the draft next year that would come close to being better. He would be the top qb taken in whatever draft class he decided to be in.

I'm going to guess that they are comfortable but nowhere near what his signing bonus would have been had he come out this year.

 

IMO he could come back to college any time but being in position to be the #1 draft pick could be gone with one hit.

I think Bradford used this method too its really smart actually. Matt Barkley and he will go in the top 10.

Big mistake... He could always go back and get his degree. If he gets hurt he is going to lose a ton of money..

Most that graduate from Stanford go on to make money. It's not about the money to him.

If its tough decision to make with the NFL cba not finished yet but the money talks especially when the NFL owners wants to put a salary cap on rookies. Take the money and finish your degree while you in the pros, I wonder if he would change his mind if Harbaugh does go to the pro's.

TV said that Luck talked with Peyton Manning and Bradford...I am sure they gave him pretty good insight. I just hope the kid doesn't get hurt and doesn't have to succumb to major program changes if Harbough leaves.

 

Maybe Harbough will come back and they will go after a National Championship. I love the SEC, but I also love smashmouth football. Between the 2 way player Stanford had, and their offensive philosophy I enjoyed watching them play.
