January 4, 201115 yr Went pretty much the way I thought; maybe a little worst than I expected. Luck had a completely different second half in comparison to the first one. Other huge contributors were Stanford's running game and their defense. Virginia Tech's offensive line was horrible and looked as if it never played. Either way, congratulations to Stanford and so long to an excellent quarterback, as well as a coach.
January 4, 201115 yr Author Harbaugh sure is dodging those interviews.... I liked his responses. It's about this team. This win. He doesn't want to take away from that.

January 4, 201115 yr They looked like the best team, from top to bottom and well, i mean well coached. I wish Jim the best in what her pursues!

January 4, 201115 yr Every game I watch Andrew Luck I like his game more and more. He seems like a can't miss QB prospect if there ever was one. Smart, hard-working and humble to go along with good tools, I don't see how it can go wrong. I really like Harbaugh too, Michigan ought to throw about 4 million per year at him IMO. He's worked miracles at Stanford.
January 4, 201115 yr Dilfer called Luck the best prospect he's ever seen. Luck is definitely up there with some of the great ones, but I wonder how much of it had to do with their offensive line this season. I wasn't aware of Stanford's offensive line having three linemen that were fifth year players, which imo is a strong contributor to his success too.
January 4, 201115 yr I'd hate to play them, but they lose a lot of people for next year. I'd also liked to have seen the Ducks beat them.
January 4, 201115 yr Dilfer called Luck the best prospect he's ever seen. I'm obviously not qualified to have a real good opinion, but I agree with that. I don't remember Manning that much but I do think Luck is much farther ahead of other highly touted QBs the last 10 years. I think he would have been the first QB off the board in any draft the last 10 years. There really isn't much more you could ask for in a young QB IMO. Yeah, i'm obviously not qualified to make that judgement either. I do agree with your statement of the last 10 years. I watched Manning closely and the thing that stuck out to me was his failures in crunch time. It goes back to college and I still think he struggles with that.
