I am amazed that there are 4 schools from the 9th region ranked in this top 25.

How can #13 Christian Co 5-6 be ranked. They have a losing record. Even if they played the top six teams they proved they can't beat them. Even if each game was two or three point losses.

Not trying to put down Christian Co. Just need someone explain! Even if they had a 6-5 record they souldn't be ranked. It's like rewards for losing!! They must have played Ballard, Jeffersontown, Eastern, UK, Duke...... lol to be ranked this high with a losing record!

Maybe the record is a type O.

The staff at J-Town told me that the Eastern game is being played at Bellarmine to accomodate the number of fans they are expecting for that game. It should be a good one and I think J-Town will beat them again probably a closer margin, say five.

Do you really believe that Christian isn't one of the state's top 20 teams?

Christian Co played several games without 2-3 starters because they were in the football play-offs.

Christian County did beat Iroquois, they lost to three teams from out of state and two of their losses were in OT, one to Trinity.

Christian County was without football players for at least 3 or 4 games. I am willing to bet that no team will want to face Christian County come March.

How does CovCath get ranked eight slots below Henry Clay after beating them handily? CovCath's only losses have been to the #1 and #5 teams.

Wayne County should be in the top 25 instead of Pulaski County.

Christian Co. played without the footballers early, one of which is a top 5ish kid in this class and runs the point.

GRC was thier first game and they were without Tandy and Hickey....also thier coach. He is also thier AD and was at the football playoffs.

I was told that right after they finished their state football game. That the players then went to Marshall Co and did play in that game that night.

It takes awhile for the football players to adjust to basketball. Remember a few years ago that Central lost like their first 6 games and went on to win their region.

I still think Christian Co is a top 10 team.

I don't no Westsider. If you have a losing record no matter who you have played. And what players you have on the court. And it doesn't matter how much talent is on the team. IF you don't produce wins. I just don't see how you can rank them as high as they are. Do you give a team a high ranking just because of the talent on the team? Or wins and losses.

Is the state talent down this year?

I've never seen them play. I was asking a question of why a losing record and still in the top 15 in the state. No doubt they must have alot of talent. But wins and looses is all that counts.

Maybe in late January they will be the best. When they get it all together. And yes March is when you want to peak. Good luck CCHS.

But are they right now? Or do they need some work before ranking them so high? When they get in BB shape they just may be a top five. But I'm talking right now with a losing record. Not what they may be down the road. And again good luck CCHS.
