Christian Co has a very talented team regardless where they're rated. You can't go by wins and losses to rate teams. Some schools win them all and play no one and others play a tough schedule and win half of their games. Ratings don't amount to much IMO. Just something to talk and argue about .

If wins and losses are all that counts, the Class 3A state champion in football wouldn't have been ranked all season. Rankings are much, much more than wins and losses. If three of their six losses were close losses to the Lakers, Heat, and Celtics, would they still be a bad team? I think not. I think win-loss record is the most over-rated aspect of rankings and it's why the AP Polls are consistently a joke because that's all the voters look at

 

You lose and you are rewarded! But we know your good! I'm sure as soon as we start getting all of our kids back and in shape we will win the tough and close ones! And our schedule was tough. But when we start playing these other schools and winning we'll be ok!

It's not in football. Like I said, Central is the perfect example. They were 0-4 or 1-5 this year and still ranked in the top three in the BGP Polls. If Christian County loses to the Celtics by three points and Raceland beats the Ashland JV team by two points, who is better? By your logic, Raceland because they are 1-0. That logic is flawed.

I'm not arguing the fact that they are good or bad. Isn't there any other teams in this state with a winning record that is as good or better then a team with a losing record. Now they may win the state title. But Right Now. Is this all we have to offer in ky. A top team in the state that lost three games to out of state teams. And they are some of the best we have to offer. Maybe the out of state teams were missing players to. Who knows.
