Just heard from his brother. They've put him back on diuretics and they seem to be working some. He was able to eat, although very little, but at least that's a bit of a positive sign. His pulse his still pretty high but he's resting comfortably which is something he hasn't done in a few days. Depending on how well the diuretics work I assume they will decide if they will do the window procedure or not. Hopefully he'll improve enough overnight and through tomorrow and he'll be able to get out of ICU. I will keep you updated as often as possible, thanks to all of you for the continued prayers.

The best gift I could get this year would be to hear that BF is o-kay and is on his way home to spend Christmas with his family. I know this is so hard on him and his family and he also knows it's hard on those of us who love him also. This is a scary time for him and for us. I will continue to pray for him as I always do but I will be praying a little more often in the coming days.

Talked to Birdsfan a little earlier today. He's feeling a little bit better, still on oxygen but his fever is down and the IV Lasix seems to be helping. For now they're laying off the window procedure but I can only assume it's not permanently off the table. He said his heart rate has lowered some, I'm not sure how much, but it's a start. I think he also said he's on an antibiotic. He also told me the pain and discomfort in his chest is much better. I will update you all whenever I hear something more.

Just got back from visiting BF. He's not himself yet, seems totally zapped of energy, but I guess that's to be expected. He looked much better to me than he did yesterday, though. He thanks all of you for the prayers and thoughts and wishes he could tell you all himself, but hopefully he'll get out of there in a few days and will be able to do so.
