Good luck tomorrow! Be sure to tell Dr. Bilbo that he is the greatest racquetball player of all time and he will do an extra fine job for you!

PS - a hobbit is performing the surgery?

I believe that he is also NCC's team Doctor , Those Baggins' are versitle

Hope all goes well!!!!!

Good luck MJ.

Good luck MJ you will be back in no time. Exactly one year ago yesterday I had knee surgery and today I am running 3 miles every day and I will bet I am much older than you. Go to rehad and follow orders and you will be fine.

Hope all went well with the surgery this morning. Dr. Bilbo is a good surgeon and will have you better before you know it.

I just saw this, MJ. I hope you've come through it like a trooper! I will echo sentiments of TB&G. I had knee surgery when I was 16 and the rehab was hell. However, it's only really painful for a relatively short time...and pushing through it ensures the most complete surgery. My son's done rehab 2 times after hip surgeries, and he is still able to run, play tennis, play football...albeit flag football these days.

I just found this thread, and now I know why I got a text earlier from someone asking me about a beer tonight, I figured they'd be at your place. So here's my disclaimer MJ, pain killers and alcohol are bad. Do with that what you will, hope the surgery went well, you'll have to let us know how it went and if there was any further injury than what they initially thought. Hope all is well man, I'll buy you a beer when you get cruch free.

Best of luck MJ! Any time you go under the knife it rates as serious, so we will be pulling for you. Everyone's different, but take your pain meds. and get rest the first couple of days with a lot of ice. It will help you get into your therapy sooner.

So, how did it go, MJ?

Most likely in a lot of pain and out of it on pain pills would be my guess.

Just ate bdubs with a friend of ours and he was heading over to check on/hang out with MJ. I doubt we hear anything out of him while the UK games going on.
