I respectfully disagree, when Josh got in the open field it was very unlikely he was caught. I have witnessed Chris get run down quite a few times. Also i believe Mark Kelly was faster than his brother and I know for a fact Josh is faster than Mark, seen the two in a foot race.

I saw Conner score the field from about 80 yards out against Male in a scrimmage when he was a sophmore. He was big and could motor.

Simpson is number one but Elliot may very well replace him after next year.

No doubt. I thought that I was making a great compliment to him. I find Kelly to be the best complete running back to go through NewCath since Kevin Smith. Conner was great and it was a shame that he was injured that final year.

Which Kelly, mex? I know you have seen them a lot more than me but IMO, Mark Kelly was better than Chris. Maybe I expected more from Chris because he was always so highly touted by NCC supporters from middle school on up and everyone always said he would be the best of the Kellys. Chris was a great RB but as an opponent I fear Mark at RB more than Chris.

Elliot will be Elliot he will not replace Miles or be like Miles...Miles had a shiftyness and wiggle to his game along with excellent vision that backs his size rarely possess...Elliot will run you over...

Additionally, he was used in a position where he would be able to break more long runs. He was in the option/read, w/ a spread field. He also returned punts, which allowed him to show his jets more. Chris was used as the power back in a completely different offensive set. He very rarely had the opportunity to get out in space until he got into the secondary. Both were very good, and it is like picking a Benz or a BMW, but I would take Chris over Mark due to having similar speed and more power. I believe that Chris can thank Mark for a lot of his competitive fire.

I agree ... tough to pick one over the other but for me I would take Mark over Chris due to Mark having similar power and more speed. But I have a very limited viewing sample compared to yours so I will trust your opinion.

Pound for pound and I am emphasizing that statement Buckler was the best overall back goes to Simpson.

Miles was a heck of a back but IMO Farris is by far thte best back on this list..

I think Frisk was as good if not better than Simpson...JMO

Just wondering why Vince Murray from the 06 Ryle team isnt on this list, he was a very good runner and is still playing fullback for Navy

 

I was reading through this list trying to remeber his name, great power running back that had a wonderful career at Ryle and is still putting up great numbers at Navy. Although, didn't he get hurt half way through the year this season?
