I had read on another thread T was NOT playing Elder or CincyX.

 

Elder and Moeller are on the schedule for next year. Cinn. X will not renew. MBA and Brentwood Academy in Nashville will be on the schedule. Maybe Ryle. Need two more teams! Is Highlands interested? They dropped us last year and added Beechwood.

Might as well finish up with the Patriots, Packers and Bears.

Rocks might need to drop from the KHSAA and just go nation wide, that way they can get a true feelin on their team. The level here is just not cuttin it. Ohio/West Va./Indiana/Tenessee/Alabama are all nice but not very long drives.

 

Its like playing my kid in ping pong every day, i beat him all the time and need to play up for me to get a true feelin on how good I am.

I'm wagering, even though we cant. Those 1st four will not all be on the schedule. I have been wrong before and maybe this time.

RockMom, I know some things, but won't say it. But I remember driving home after we lost to the Rocks in 06. And trying to console my kid. I love my sons. Bellyachin? Not really doing that just posting facts. And wanting a level playing field. You think its level? Any Rock fans thinks its level. :idunno: :popcorn:

Is it level between Male & Southern? I don't think so. This gets scoffed at all the time by the Male people BUT you do know that among the other public schools your school is referred to as St. Male, right?

Kids from Southern are from the same county as Male. Can the coaches from Southern go and ask kids to come to Southern? yes... At Male you have to apply, not every kid gets in the Traditional program. I've around the TP for over 14 years. I've even tied to help parents get a kid in. But are we talking about wins or Championships?

 

But the thread is Male/Trinity. I've heard aout the coaches offices/Workout room/Stadium, don't kid your self.

 

When the JCPS asked Male to move they promised to up grade the Durret campus. You need to see the workout room/offices. I have.

 

I can win the Powerball and donate $4 mil to Male, but they have to share it. The sponsers at Trinity can donate to the football program or a player.

The problem with a lot of what you're posting, or implying is that they are NOT facts! And I'm tired of it, frankly. After 20+ years, I'm heartily sick and tired of it. Obviously, it's not just you, since I mention the 20+ years.

 

You keep crying about the lack of a "level playing field" between Male and Trinity. What about the lack of level playing field between Iroquois and Male? Southern & Male? Jeffersontown & Male? Fern Creek and Male? YOU hear things? Me too! But guess what? I'm not using what I hear to try and malign Male. I'm not assuming that everything I hear is true. But you are focusing only on football. How do you think Fern Creek may have felt when a certain outstanding baseball player went to Male & played baseball? Or a certain outstanding basketball player went to Male & played basketball? There are many others that I could mention as well. Those kids chose Male. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I'm not going to let you divert the attention from my question. Male's athletic facilities are second to none in Jefferson County. You complain about the lack of a level playing field and I maintain that anyone from Male who does so borders on the hypocritical by constantly bringing this up based on how unlevel the playing field is between them and other JCPS schools. I've seen the facilities you speak of at Male and I can tell you for a fact that MANY JCPS schools would kill for what they have. I spent 14 years at Iroquois and I know for a fact that we "lost" more students to Male then we did to any private school and Male under Coaches Jordan and Redman regularly beat our brains in as they did most other JCPS Schools they played. The year Male's stadium was built Iroquois had to play all of their games on Friday afternoons because their light standards had been condemned and JCPS only had the resources to erect lights at one stadium that year. Guess who got them. I'm kind of looking forward to this whole super district thing because maybe now Male will get a dose of what it's like to be in a district where you are not the top dog year in and year out.

 

I've been involved with high school sports since 1975 and these same arguments have been made since then regarding Trinity and X, even when Trinity's enrollment was much lower then many JCPS schools.
