It just won't be the same without Darth Visor on the Male sideline.

It is rumored that Coach Beatty has been seen in the maternity ward twice at the local Catholic hospitals and once undercover at one of th Public hospitals.

How mayny players will Male be bring to the game? I do not know how many players Trinity will be bringing to the game, but I do know how many it will take.

Darth Visor=No Safeties. Would add more but the head coach of the Rocks is on my cell. Who is this Dennis guy on my landline?

He did and it did not go well. He found out it's tough to win when you don't have the best players every game.

Anyone that doesn't believe Coverdale is one amazing coach has no clue about him. I have nothing to do with T or H but I know Coverdale is one of THE guys when it comes to offense in the country. He has done well every where he was an OC. The short stint as HC in IN was much more complex than many know. There are a number of schools that would kill to have him as an HC.

WE like him ....alot.

We will keep him.

They can't have him.

What will Male have to do on the field to get the win?

Play about 15 on offense and 22 on defense at the same time.

Thanks, and be sure to tip your waitress on the way out.

Serious answers anyone?

Do what Ryle and X did in the first half: run the ball and keep Trinity's offense off the field. Male ought to be able to do that given that they've rushed for over 3,500 yards this year. They also have two 1,000 yard backs.

Defensively, they've got to stop the run out of their nickel package. That may prove to be a challenge.

Isn't Male running the Wing-T this year? I know that scheme has given us fits in the past.

Keep Trinity's offense off the field.

Dominate the time of possession by eating up as much clock as possible and scoring a touchdown and extra point each drive.

No turnovers.

Get turnovers and turn them into points.

Oh yeah and no turnovers.

Did I say keep Trinity's offence off the field.

I don't doubt Coverdale had an amazing offensive mind, however the talent Trinity puts on the field can make an average coach look good. His stint at Castle wasn't that complex. He followed legend and never won over alot of the old school Lidy supports. His offense struggled because he didn't have the horses he does at Trinity. Lidy was a 3 yards in a cloud of dust guy and Coverdale ended up with a similar offense. Henderson played Caslte every year Coverdale was there and the offense from the first year to second and third were night and day. Add to that no wins over their biggest rival in Reitz and he felt alot of pressure.

I was surprised not to see Quick listed as either a starter or backup at Wide Receiver. If I remember correctly, he scored on a long pass on one of the first plays against Ryle. Doesn't he usually start? Now he's not even listed as a reserve. What's the story here, Shamrocks?

Perhaps he's transferred to the high school his sister attended? ...though I'll admit, the timing would be a little odd.

(I like it that to put this on the thread I have to hit a button marked, "Post QUICK Reply")

Coverdale had coached at a number of schools in IN and the offense worked just fine with all different levels of talent.

Nice article of both schools today in the C-J. The running back for the Rocks seems like the kid they had a couple of years ago Tim Phillips I believe.

Male mentioned the new "D"...but you have to give credit with the Male kids learning the new system.
