Yes, a very good one. It doesn't matter how good though, she still couldn't go to Trinity.

Good article but in order to be fair and balanced shouldn't it have been mentioned Male was the last public school to win the big school title, theat their facilities are second to no public school's and that Trinity has had their turf field for only 5 years. Before that their stadium was mediocre at best. And X didn't even have their own stadium until 3 years ago.

When did Male upgrade their facilities? We visited Male about 5 years ago and to say their facilities are second to none is a HUGE stretch. Now maybe they have a different weight room than what we saw but we were in the locker room and coaches offices. Now don't get me wrong Henry Co has amazing facilities for a public school and has shown what a public school can do when a whole community busts its tail. But unless Male has done some major upgrades and changes there is a long list of publics that have better facilities.

Excuse me for being so broad but the piece that was cited made specific references to the turf fields at X and T so when I said facilities second to none it was the football stadiums that I was referring to. To be honest I get more then a little sick when I see the "poor little public school" line being played by or about Male. There's a reason they have been placed in the super district next year regardless of what the KHSAA maintains. Regardless of what the Male supporters would have you believe they have more in common with a school like Trinity or X then they do a school like Iroquois or Shawnee.

Nothing snide Trinity Alum, just meant to be funny. I hope you guys win. I have coached several of the Trinity players in grade school and wish them nothing but success and the best. Do not get me wrong, I am not a fan, I HATE LOSING TO TRINITY, but I can get past all the rivalry and cheer for those guys.
