Well, the cardinals showed what a championship caliber team does, overcome adversity, pull together and play solid football. They arrived late to the stadium due to traffic, leading reciever on them took a fall before game and injured his knee (not sure how serious, did not play at all and it does not look good) MHS had way to much speed and weapons for a huge but slow LHC team. LCH did shock all the MHS faithfull with 2 quick long scores on their first 2 possesions, then MHS fumlbles at midfield on their next possesion, sitting up LHC at midfield, with the ball and leading 14 to 0! After that it was ALL MHS!

Down 14 after 2 series I stopped laughing but still felt like we would be fine. AFter we fumble it back to HC down 14 o I begin to shows signs of distress but about then the Cards go wild. A girls gone wild video had nothing on the game from there forward and a few minutes later I was myself again. Running clock with 0.31 left in 3rd. Higginson took a fall durning warmups on that field that should be condemed. I fear he is done from reports I have heard but will hope otherwise until we learn more. Now it is on to Beechland, a game I would assume the Tigers have been waiting for for 364 days, I know I have been looking at this one for most of the season. Mayfield will have to avoid the sloppy play if we wish to maintain our record against the Mighty Tigers but God willing I am optimistic
