That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. If that's the case then why wouldn't the receiving team call for a farir catch every time the other team does an onside kick. I'm pretty sure I've never seen that call in my life.

It looked to me like he kicked the ball straight into the turf and it took that long bounce into the air. I think that is what the SK coaches were complaining about.

No - he kicked straight in the air, pop up. Never hit the ground. Receiving team has right to call fair catch. That is why most on side kicks are beat into the ground. Nice Idea - did not catch the raiders sleeping.

Not sure what your calling double coverage but Ryle had someone up hitting him every play with a saftey covering that side of the field. Sounds like double coverage to me?
